July 1st

July 1st came so quickly this year!  There has been much anticipation regarding enrollment for fall, and we actually went online with it last night. To my surprise, I woke up to an inbox full of enrollments!   I love summertime weather, and the way my schedule is so laid-back…however nothing beats a good, busy month of September!  By the looks of today (July 1st, 9:15am) this fall should be booming! 

The studio is also excited to host a fieldtrip from The Prep School Academy today. The school has summer clubs, and the kids in the “Go Owls Cheer Club” will be arriving shortly.  30 kids in an hour and a half!  Now THATS cheerleading!

I’m happy to report that the staff meeting last night was one of the most productive, successful, and energizing meetings we have ever had. My staff is truly a TEAM of the best instructors around!  The meeting was a collaboration of a ton of new, refreshing ideas. This fall will be SO much fun…not only for the kids but for the staff too!

 

 

All Things Summer

It is the perfect summer day here at the studio!  The garage doors are all open, it’s breezy and the sun is shining. We have 16 high school cheerleaders downstairs for a private camp. A bootcamp class is working out in one of the upstairs classrooms. The office is quiet, yet super busy. People are already trying to “pre-register” for classes this fall. Online and paper registration begins this Friday!   The allstar teams will all be here this evening. The minis-youth-and junior teams are all over half-way finished learning their routines for the season, and they are shaping up nicely!  We will have another round of bootcampers later as well.  Coaches/Staff meeting tomorrow to outline all sorts of new things for the upcoming season. Today will also begin the traffic flow of people coming in to pick up their Recital DVD.  (They are fantastic this year!) There is not a dull moment around this place…summer or not…things are staying busy and I am staying happy!

The Kicks Staff creates curriculum based on the skill level of your team, what you want to do, and what things your team needs for the season!
